So who am I?

I've always been dedicated to art, education and outreach. The only career path that made sense to me was being a Bharatanatyam dancer and educator. This led to my initial choice of study to complete Childcare Training at the Robert Morgan Educational Center in Florida. Here I gained experience in teaching and caring for younger minds. With this achievement, I ventured into an in-depth study in order to perfect the art form of Bharatanatyam and fulfill my dream of becoming a performing artist. In 2014, I graduated from the renowned Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Kalakshetra Foundation, in Tamil Nadu, India.

Being a Kalakshetra graduate allowed me to bring forward my talent, dedication, and experience through my Non- Profit dance organization, Adavallan Art Academy. Being an Artistic Director will enable me to continuously challenge myself as a leader. In May 2023, I completed a Non-Profit Arts Administrative Internship spring program with Pentacle Dance Works Inc, New York City. In August of 2023 I was then awarded an inaugural Creative Residency for one year at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago.

Currently I am pursuing an International Master in Arts and Cultural Management with Rome Business School, Italy.

Apart from the performing arts, I try to strike a healthy balance surrounded by the people I love, reading great books, hitting up the gym and seizing the moment wherever I wander in the world. â€‹â€‹â€‹
